How To Add Addon Domain To Bluehost

After buying a web hosting from BlueHost, next you have to add domain name to your BlueHost account. You can add domain name to your hosting account through Addon domain option on your BlueHost hosting account.

BlueHost offering a free domain name with hosting package. So if you purchase bluehost hosting with free domain name, then you don't need to add that free domain to your Hosting account. You need to add only the domains that out side to your hosting account. In this post I'm going to show you how to add a Addon domain to your BlueHost account.

You can add any domain names which you bought from domain name registers such as GoDaddy, Namecheap, Bigrock and so on.

How to add Addon domain to your BlueHost hoting account:

You can add multiple domains to your Hosting account only if you have unlimited hosting. So if you want to host multiple websites on your hosting account, buy unlimited hosting plan from BlueHost.
One of the most suitable plan to host unlimited websites is "plus shared hosting" in BlueHost. Buy "plus" package in BlueHost shared hosting plan. It's easy to add Addon domains to your BlueHost account.

Follow below steps to add Addon domains to your BlueHost hosting account:

Step 1 :  Login to your BlueHost hosting account

Step 2 : Click on cPanel and again click on Addon Domains under Domain Management

Step 3 :  Now you can choose Use a domain name that is already associated with your account
              If you have a domain name associated with your account
                   or
              Choose Use a domain name that is not already associated with your account
              If you choose second option, enter domain name without www

Step 4 : Now it show Verify Ownership
             Actually Before going to add a domain name to your Hosting account, First
             Assign name servers to your domain name.
             If you already assigned name servers, you can't see Verify Ownership optipons.
             If you not already assigned name servers to your domain, then add name servers to
             your domain to verify or follow any other verification options.

Step 5 :  Now Choose Addon Domain and then choose directory for your Addon Domain
              by selecting any option on Choose Addon Directoy and Sub-domain
              and finally click on Assign this domain.

Like this you can add any domain name to your BlueHost hosting account. Creating directory for your domain is more important.
